This afternoon I spoke in a Westminster Hall debate on the re-opening of hotels for asylum seekers since Labour came into Government.
The Marriott Hotel in Cheshunt has been housing asylum seekers since 2022, and I set out the impact this is having on local residents.
Labour promised to end the use of asylum hotels, and I'll be holding them to account until they fulfil that promise - and return the Marriott to our community.
