Labour are not being straight with you

I listened extremely carefully to the Chancellor's statement to Parliament yesterday.

It was deeply concerning to hear that the Government has chosen to scrap the Winter Fuel Payment for the majority of pensioners - something which I know is a lifeline to so many of my constituents. This is especially jarring given the Chancellor has announced spending plans of £24 billion in the 24 days since she took office.

With £1 billion spent for every day Labour have been in charge so far, I fear it will be left to Broxbourne's hard-working taxpayers to pick up the tab for Labour’s profligacy.

I will do everything I can to fight for the lower taxes our community and economy desperately need. Labour's political choices must not be allowed harm our area.

Delivering for the needs of our Community

I will continue to call for increased provision for special educational needs (SEND) in our schools, more GPs and community facilities and supporting access to important local services. I'll fight for improvements to the bus service too.
