Meeting the Employment Minister

During my election campaign I spoke about how I wanted to see more good, local jobs available for local people.

And I've kept this campaign up since I was elected, meeting staff at Waltham Cross Jobcentre and business owners across the constituency. In Parliament, I've challenged Ministers on the action they're taking to change the job centre system, and their decision to raise taxes on employment.

Today I took my case directly to the Minster for Employment at the Department for Work and Pensions. We discussed the new employment opportunities coming to Broxbourne, and what more can be done to ensure the jobcentre is fully utilised by both jobseekers and employers.
