Lewis in Parliament

Broxbourne is not known for its farms, but this year’s boundary changes have seen the amount of agricultural land in the constituency increase. Labour's tax changes will have a severe impact on the small family-owned farms in our area, and will also affect all of us through the supply chain as we buy food.

In the House of Commons, I exposed the claims of Labour MPs that farmers in their constituencies backed the changes and called on them to go with their conscience and vote against their Government's decision.

Delivering for the needs of our Community

I will continue to call for increased provision for special educational needs (SEND) in our schools, more GPs and community facilities and supporting access to important local services. I'll fight for improvements to the bus service too.
