I spoke against Labour's cuts to support for pensioners.

I have joined with my colleague Blake Stephenson, MP for Mid Bedfordshire, to call on the Government to distribute more resources to SEND services across Bedfordshire and Hertfordshire.

I listened extremely carefully to the Chancellor's statement to Parliament yesterday.  It was deeply concerning to hear that the Government has chosen to scrap the Winter Fuel Payment for the majority of pensioners - something which I know is a lifeline to so many of my constituents.

Today I challenged the Prime Minister on Labour's changes to the planning system.

On Friday 19 July, I delivered my first speech to the House of Commons. I was proud to set out why Broxbourne is such a special place for me, and to pay tribute to my predecessor Sir Charles Walker. I also commented on planning policy.
